DEAD or ALIVE will always be one of my favorite games of all time. When I was a teenager I would obsess over every interview that Tomonobu Itagaki did. I wanted to understand everything about how TEAM Ninja did what they did. And even NOW 25 years later with over a decade and a half of game development experience under my belt, I am still amazed by their work! 

It is said that Tomonobu Itagaki chose to make KASUMI'S outfit Blue and White with Red hair as a way of showing love to the WEST - To bring the Japanese culture and the American culture closer together... I don't know how true this is, but I like the sentiment... I like the idea of bringing people together...

 I have so many thoughts on the NEW "NINJA GAIDEN" NG4 - While I am excited and I love Platinum games, I still wonder what it could have been like if the OG team worked on it.  Still It looks like a good hack and slash, and I am eager to check it out. Melee combat is very hard to do. It takes a certain skill set to create proper melee combat. Because TEAM NINJA came from a fighting game B.G. they were able to create sweet melee combat in NG!
